We gathered as a community, made of people from different backgrounds and traditions, breaking down the barriers that divide us so that we can worship our Creator, the Triune God. We join our voices with those of the global Church, proclaiming that God is the God of all nations. We know that the Coming Kin-dom (Family of God) will reside within a City of diversity and hospitality, and that it is the image we strive for at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Through worship, we express our devotion to God, and individually, we do this differently based on our own traditions. You are invited to worship God as you are. Worship is not only expressive, but also formative. We are shaped by the practices we have in worship, and through them, we hope to become more like the body of Christ.
We invite you to not place your background and culture aside, but to become a part of the body of Christ as an individual. We also invite you to partake in new practices. Worship is not only about hospitality, but it is a growing experience in a community.
