Alan B. Thorne, Jr., M. Div Middler, was born and raised in New Haven, CT. From a young he has been involved in the life of the church, particularly as a musician. During his time as an undergraduate at Princeton University ('13, B.S.E in Computer Science) he was a student leader of a Christian fellowship and served as the Music Director for the Princeton University Gospel Ensemble (PUGE). Alan is something of a "Presby-costal", bringing together both his Holiness Pentecostal roots and his growing love for Reformed theology and Presbyterian tradition. Through parish ministry, Alan hopes to bring reconciliation to the diverse communities he finds himself in along racial, ethnic, theological, and class lines. In his free times, Alan can be found playing piano or hanging with his wife, Ravonne.
